Empire handles recurring life safety compliance for NYC kitchens and buildings: hoods and ducts, fire suppression, extinguishers, emergency lighting, grease traps, and the four-yearly gas piping inspection. We do not install suppression systems, seal drawings, pull permits as a design professional or hold a plumbing licence. Those are your work, and we are not going to bid on them.
The arrangement, plainly
You send us the recurring calendar you do not want to carry. We send you the licensed work we are not entitled to do. No fee either direction, no exclusivity, and we will tell your client you referred us.

What we do
Send you every gas piping inspection and the corrections that follow. Local Law 152 runs on a four-year cycle across 279,810 buildings, and the certification has to be sealed by the plumber who did the inspection.

Send us the hood, duct and suppression work you get asked for and do not want.
Waste oil and grease haulers
What we do
Service the interceptor. You take the oil. Same kitchen, often the same week, and neither of us wants to be the one explaining a backed-up line during service.

Introduce us where a trap is failing faster than the schedule explains.
Fire suppression installers
What we do
Inspect what you install, semi-annually, for as long as the kitchen trades. We are not going to bid against you on installation.

Hand off the recurring inspection instead of carrying a calendar you did not want.
Architects and engineers
What we do
Take the build-out from your sign-off through the recurring compliance, so your client stops calling you about hood cleaning two years later.
What we ask
Bring us in at design, when the hood and suppression layout is still cheap to change.
Master electricians
What we do
Test emergency lighting and exit signage on the NFPA schedule and tell you what needs replacing.
What we ask
Refer the testing rather than absorbing it.
Health code consultants
What we do
Cover fire and life safety. You cover the letter grade. Different inspectors, different failures, same customer.
What we ask
Refer the fire side. We will refer the health side back.
Restaurant brokers and commercial agents
What we do
Tell your client before they sign what the building will cost them in compliance, including whether the gas piping certification was ever filed.
What we ask
Introduce us at lease signing rather than after the first violation.
Subcontracting, if that suits better
We also bring on approved subcontractors for hood cleaning and fire protection work across the five boroughs. That means scheduled volume, documented scope and payment terms that do not depend on chasing an owner. Insurance, licensing and reference checks happen before any work is assigned, which is slower than a handshake and better for everyone downstream of it.
